When you have a site that is mostly populated by older men in their 70s and 80s, you have to expect that there will be days when one or another is grumpy. Not intentionally so, but maybe the back hurts today or the arthritis is kicking up or whatever else may be wrong.
Just like equipment, bodies tend to wear out over time. They are not as repairable. Makes a guy grumpy when he cannot do what he did years ago. The spirit is willing but the body just doesn't cooperate. Then the frustration comes out through the keyboard and gets misunderstood, and there you have it.
Most that leave for a while do come back. Some never do. Some are recalled by the manufacturer. But, in the years that I have been "on line" I have never found a forum like this one. Well populated by knowledgeable people that are anxious to help out when needed. Overall, this is a pleasant place to be. Many thanks to the hosts for providing this forum.
