You got that grease the front axle right! Trouble is neither of my Husqvarna tractors had one. My big baby GT-2254 Had that stupid plastic bushing and if it gets just a little wear on it the machine will not turn to the right. No how, no way. I installed a bronze bushing and cross drilled the retainer bolt. Nice 90� zirk fitting in the end. Another thing that helps a lot are those trust roller bearings between the axle and the spindles. You can steer with one finger when driving on the street or paved driveway. I think the ball type will work a little better. My dad's 41 Chevy pickup has them in the front end under the king pins. Keep them greased!!!
