Externally, a generator with a cutout relay is tapped for the relay to screw onto the top of the generator. A generator for a later style system with a regulator under the gas tank will not be drilled and tapped.
For a system with a regulator on top of the generator I'm not sure without taking the band off the generator and physically looking at the third brush to see if it's permanently fastened to a plate with the other brushes or if it can be loosened and adjusted.
