Its an 8n ford... so the coil is built into the top of the distribitor.
I see most often....
spring on coil broke off from incorrect installation...
Points shorted out due to being installed incorrectly...
12 volts not getting to coil....
to work on this tractor you either need to pull the hood and doglegs off,, or better yet pull the whole distribitor out where you can see what is happening. as its mounted on the front of the engine, its impossible to see anything with the radiator, fan blades, and doglegs in the way. iirc dist is keyed offset so it can only go back on correctly, in time. But check it when you pull it to be sure noting position of the shaft tab position so you can put it back the same.
