If you want to find out what is happening, you need a clamp on amp meter, (Amprobe is a brand name like Kleenex is a tissue) if a repair shop says they can't get more than 27 amps out of it, the voltage at that point may have been down to 30. It is neither the tractor, nor pump that is the issue. If it is showing load on the Case engine, I would say it has a short internally. Jim
