Several months ago my voice started sounding like I was hoarse. Had a spot on my vocal cords. ENT cut/scraped what he could get to and sent me to see the Radiation Dr. When he looked at it, said "could wait 3 months and look again to see if it has changed. Alternative is to clean it up with radiation. Lightest dose in his book, the cells are very susceptible to x-ray, over 95% cure rate, and done in 5 1/2 weeks. I chose the latter. We will meet and get started sometime after the first of the year. Can't tell you how it feels to know it won't be a long, drawn out thing. He said "you'll look like you are wearing a brown bow tie. After the way I've seen Larry and others on here deal with it, I am ready to get started. I know it won't be fun but I'm ready to get it OUT. Thank You, Larry for giving me a role model to follow. I wonder if I'll become as productive as you are. Bruce
