With the ignition off, rock the tractor back and forth on the ground while trying to bump it out of gear. Do not force it. If no joy, or it can't be moved, you may end up taking the top off of the trans to get it going. The gear shifter could be out of the slots, or rails stuck from rust. Is it an operating tractor, or being put back in operation after years of sitting. Jim
