I remember when I was a kid all of my older cuz's and their friends had CB radios and I had a toy base station. I could hear them talk but couldn't talk back. Anyway one day we had a big snow and the police shut down several miles of US Hwy 70 because so many people were stuck and off the road. Well they and their friends all had 4 wheel drives and they were going around pulling people out for a little money much less than a wrecker would charge. Well one lady in a Corvette was just off the road a little bit but was stuck. They told her 10 bucks to get her going and out. She said wonderful that would be fine! Well they pulled her out and when they unhooked her car she jumped in and locked the doors and said F You! Well that didn't go over very well with a bunch of ole country boys. They all pushed her with her tires spinning back off the road down in a ditch a lot farther than she was to begin with and told everybody over the CB what she did so no one else would help her! I hope she learned her lesson. They said if she had said before she didn't have any money they would have got her out anyway they did some more people.
