The Oliver hitch balls are a standard for ALL Oliver and White tractors using that style lift arm. The internal hole can be different Cat I, II or III. The outside is the same. Your Oliver 1755 is not a "special" tractor that only Oliver 1755 balls will fit. I currently own an Oliver 1655 and White 2-105, they use the same balls. I have owned an Oliver 1755 in the past and it used the same ones.
Your making this way too complicated. There are lots of after market suppliers of these balls. If you want the hardened ones than just go to AGCO and order them. Unless your using the tractor a lot of hours each year on heavy three point lift work, the simple after market ones will last you for years.
Here are the AGCO numbers. 105967A CAT I balls $25.08 104591A CAT II balls $27.44
Many farm supply stores will have them too. Like Farm and Fleet, TSC and etc.

I dropped off the tractor expecting a transformation from a 6 volt to a 12 volt system utilizing the original generator housing, and a total rewiring of the whole tractor. The front end center pin bushing was worn also so I ask that they replace it if they had time. Well, that’s wha
