With the clutch pushed down, and the front and rear transmissions in neutral, rotate the gears in the front transmission. If they move it is not that. Now watch in transmission #2 to see if the counter 9lower) shaft turns when the input shaft is rotated. If so it is not the input and countershaft of #2 Now try to rotate the output shaft of #2. If it does not rotate one way, but does the other, the issue is in the differential, or ring gear, or rear bearing of the trns #2 With both rear wheels off the ground, turning one forward should make the other turn backward. if so and wroks either direction, the issue in not in the actual differential, but could be in the ring and pinion, or bearings there.
