Must be an exception. I keep the gauge in the Expedition no lower than 1/3 and usually up at 3/4. Running the tank low all of the time screws up your fuel pump ok . Now the ex WITCH calls me one day and says the car wound not run. When I get to where she was the fuel gauge is not only on E it is below E in the parked position. Don't think there were even vapors in the tank. I told her E ment empty....not eventually.
