To qualify this as tractor related, I use this light in the room to see the computer I post on and read from this site! My problem is this; this is in my den and this light is the main source of light as other lamps do not seem to fit the space as well and if in any other place in the room it causes glare on TV and computer screen. It takes a 200 watt clear, standard base incandescent bulb to do the job of lighting the room. These bulbs only last about 20 hours and then they blow. Smaller wattage bulbs are longer lasting but really don't give off enough light to be satisfactory. These bulbs are getting scarce in the regular incandescent type. Is there anything in the way of L E D or even fluorescent that will give light of equal brightness and color? I have used 3 bulbs this past month.
