Albert, Setting up a tractor to pull is all about the rules that you have to pull under. I pull with 3 area clubs. We pull stock antique tractors 1959 and back, nothing newer. Very few engine modifications are allowed. We have drawbar rules. A 4MPH speed limit and Tire size rules per class. If it came with a 34 in tire and rim you must stay with a 34 in rim ,not a 38.No radial or cut tires of any kind. The front weight bracket cannot extend more than 8 inches from the front of the tractor. If you showed up at one of these pulls with a 354 Perkins in a Cockshutt you wouldn't even get to unload. Get the rules where you are going to pull ,study them and set up our tractor accordingly. Proper weight placement and driver skill win more pulls at our pulls than horsepower.

The front end center pin bushing was worn also so I ask that they replace it if they had time. Well, that’s wha
