That is a classic "straw man" argument.
NOBODY claims the climate doesnt change on the planet. Every scientist accepts that fact. The geological record left in the earth's rock layers confirms it. What is different is the RATE at which the climate is changing in this moment in the planets history. It is changing faster than any recorded instance in the historical and geological record. The only exception was 65 million years ago when a large meteor hit the Yucatan peninsula and that also didnt end well for the dominant species at that time! The current rise in global temperatures nicely jives with a rapid rise in heat trapping gasses given off by our burning of long sequestered carbon deposits and lead those who study such things to conclude that we are responsible for heating the earth's average global temperatures.
