The county just North of here killed one off before it got started. it was a lot smaller. As I understand the situation, the surrounding land owners didn't want it. The land owner wouldn't have had to work another day in his life, though.
It sounds like a bit of a racket: I heard that back when 'O' was president, Congress passed some law that said utilities HAD to buy power from these solar outifts at Retail prices. Like what you and I pay. Yet they were the ones who handled the distribuition and provided the power the other 1/2 or so of each day when there was no Sunshine.
