If you've got the "ultradrive" 4-speed electronic transmission, it's a PIECE OF CRAP! My wife's '90 Voyager is currently on it's 5th Chrysler rebuilt tranny (at $1,600 per rebuild). The first 4 were paid for by Chrysler; the 5th (at 90K miles) Chrysler agreed to split the cost, but only after several phone calls and a nastygram from my attorney. What's really troubling is the car sees only light duty - no trailer towing, no city traffic, etc. - easy service for the transmission. My daughter has a '91 Plymouth Acclaim with the same transmission. It had to be rebuilt at 55K miles ($1,750...). This one Chrysler would not work with us on (7-70 warranty and despite the low milage, the car is 10 years old.) Needless to say I will never buy another Chrysler automatic!
