I think you mean parallel connection instead of plural connection. Assuming that each the negative terminals of the two 12V batteries are connected to ground you have a correct parallel 12V feed to your starter. Two batteries connected in this manner double the amps available to your starter. A series connection would be one of the negative terminals on one battery connected to ground, the + terminal of that battery connected to the - terminal of the other battery, and this battery's + terminal connected to your starter. This arrangement yields 24V from two 12V batteries.
