Built one of those for a 68 Chevy 4WD, with a granny-low 4 speed. Nothing real fancy, RV grind cam, Edelbrock manifold and carb, headers. Made an AWESOME plow truck, until I shucked the frontend out from under it. Had it up on blocks in the Spring of 1990 looking for front end parts when the wife sez "All the time and money you spend on that old truck, you'd be better off buying a new one!" Let's just say the door didn't get a chance to hit me in the butt... Sold the engine for $2K cash and swapped the rest for a 14' flatbed trailer.

Product Review: Black Tire Paint - by Staff. I have been fortunate in that two of my tractors have had rear tires that were in great shape when I bought the tractor. My model "H" even had the old style fronts with plenty of tread. My "L" fronts were mismatched Sears Guardsman snow tires, which I promptly tossed.
