just read advertised HP. 289-302 heads arent too good, but they do ok. Check the specs on a 1985 351w HO truck motor, compare to 350 chevy 4 bbl. 351C and 460 DOVE cast heads are some of the finest flowing heads made. and many people have tried in vain to improve on the stock ford 4v intake manifolds, they are fine tuned from Ford. all aftermarket manifolds can boast is an improvement in one area, the loss in others isnt worth it. if your Ford has a iron Ford 4v intake on it leave it alone. Invest in cam, and fancy pistons, or try to put 351c heads on it.
