My mom used to have a ‘68 D200. She purchased it for $500 about 15 years ago on a farm sale from the original owner. After the “sold “ gavel went down, the seller came out of the barn with the original tail gate. When the guy originally purchased the truck new,he took the tail gate off and never used it. He took it out of his barn, installed it on the truck, and my mom drove it home. I sold her truck about five years ago for $750. The seller tried to talk me down, but when I mentioned the tail gate was easily worth that (to the right person), he agreed. My mom was bragging about “making money “ on that truck to her quilting group for years.
