Hi All,
I posted last week regarding sleeves on a Ford 9N tractor we are working on in the Ag Mechanics class I am student teaching. I was able to get a caliper to get measurements of the sleeve thickness and bore.
The measurements are as follows: All measurements were taken from the top of the block with the sleeves and the pistons in place, and there was enough of a grove to distinguish between the sleeve and block.
Sleeve thickness: .090
Bore of sleeve: 3.170
Bore of block: 3.387
Am I correct in that this engine has .090 sleeves and to order the engine kit with sleeves of this diameter? The numbers match what I have found on other YT posts, though I just wanted to double check as block diameter is not listed in the shop manual. The post I am referencing should be attached below.
