Mostly the oil leaks are just annoying. When you really don't like them is when you have a freshly painted tractor, then they can really stand out. I always replace all the seals on any tractor I paint. Mine are all trailer queen/parade tractors anyway. My guess is this tractor has all the original seals. These seal are made of leather and have long since lost the ability to seal anything. If you are going to totally restore it then change them if not just do as posted put a drip pan or piece of cardboard under it. Even some of my restored tractors have leaks and I have drip pans under them anyway.
