You mention the larger ones. What really busts them up is when you go from a hit and miss to a modern 4cy. engine. A whole lot faster. They mondernized and the later ones were made for a modern engine. Another thing are the ones making cracked corn. Make a load of noise. And then there is always some darn kid that throws a couple of rocks in it so the machine gets broken so he doesn't need to do that chore. You hope he gets is rear end tuned up.
