Oops - does look a tad squishy. Sheesh - more rain probably coming at you... and at us tonight/tomorrow. This year has been like "the rain that never ends".
Farmers in the southern part of the state were combining beans like gangbusters here at the end of last week. Friday evening, I went over to Fairmont for a supper out and a meeting with a group of people. When we were driving home around 9:30 or 10pm, some were still combining. Maybe the strong wind that night, kept the beans from getting tough... OR maybe farmers where just getting out, whatever they could get out!
Some crafter would probably buy that rusty barbed wire. I've seen people make wreaths or shape crosses out of it... then add some silk flowers/greenery. They look pretty cool.
