Al, He didn't tell you everything he learned or you're choosing to not tell everything he said. We have had the training at our church. The instructor had just gotten back from two weeks police training somewhere in the midwest or far west. A main segment was on proper response to an armed intruder situation. We were told to get away from where he was if possible, but if not possible to barricade the door to the room, or pick up whatever is available to throw it at him and then rush him. However, we have 4-5 guys carrying concealed so he will be hurting before he can get hit by a thrown book.
This thread is all about NOTHING!! I have, as a nozzle man on the fire dept, for twenty years, been one to run in when others are running out. 99% of armed services recruits are going to be easily trainable to do their job even if trained as a kid to not try to stare a bullet down.
