Never had much luck putting culverts around here . Either the beavers would plug them or they would plug on there own with debree during gully washers . A real pain to unplug as you are in the middle of a pond at that time . You wind up having to dig them out with a loader when you are surrounded by water them get the neighbor to pull out the loader. The best way is to install low level crossings-- during a dry time dig it down a bit and have rock hauled in . This allows you to drive trough the creek when the water starts flowing with out sinking.
