The current generation of eagles is just like the current generation of kids (that we so often flame here on the forum) ..... they can't do anything for themselves anymore. Totally useless unlike their forefathers. I remember years ago when an eagle who ate roadkill would be an embarrassment to the flock, nowadays they have no pride, just hang around roadsides waiting for something to be handed to them on a plate ... or on the asphalt. Ask one of them to go out and spot a field gopher from 300' up and dive-bomb it for supper ..... no way .... they prefer highway fast food instead. Durned birds anyways ..... LOL !!!
