Almost 30 years ago when I lived on the beach 1Km. from here. I watched an Eagle flapping/ swimming towards shore. He/she started at least 1km from shore - took about 1/2 hour. Landed across the bay from me (1/2 km) on a solid rock shore. I had gotten my binocks by then - no camera. He shook his feet and dropped what I would guess to be an 8#+ salmon. Crows came and hassled (their job), anyhoo he/she shook most off the water (after a 1km. swim dragging a fish), picked up said fish and flew off with crows chasing. Before the time of 'smart phones' or smart Bob's. Had to be there.
