The first time I went to Colorado skiing was in '82. We drove at night and as we were getting to Denver the sun was just coming up there was a big green cloud over the city. MTBE was the big thing to help oxygenate the fuel at the time. Somebody decided it caused cancer and it was discontinued in favor of E10.
