I don't see what is wrong with the IH Farmall Cub. It just seems to be too small for your uses. My dad has owned a '52 with a Woods mid-mower finish deck since '88 and hasn't done anything mechanically except I believe a caburator cleaning and an ignition tune up. Still runs great, and it's the tractor I have grown up on. The Cub is much heavier built than what it really needed to be.
