Two days ago I put Liquid Electrical Tape on the cord that got hit by the floor sander. Recall the cover had most of the damage, the insulation on the inner or base wire appeared ok or at worst nicked. Later today I will put heat shrink was over the now dried but still flexible Liquid Electrical Tape.
Working with the Liquid Electrical Tape was easy once I got control of how much was on the supplied brush. Reapply on 5 minute intervals as needed, dry in 24 hours.
I have one more nick to fix.
I will experiment with the Seal Fusing Tape on another cord today.
