We have an Excide warehouse close by. Used to buy their new store returns from them for $30 but found they just didn't last. They had box's of different brand labels that they slapped on the batteries depending on who was getting that particular shipment. Was at a trucking warehouse one time and they had a pallet of new batteries setting there. Got to talking to a mechanic and he told how when they came in the salesman would ask what brand they wanted and would put that label on them.
