Way too many complexities to try to retrofit DC electric start and the cost if you need to buy new parts would be huge.
AC electric start has been common on Techmseh snowblowers since the early 1980s, maybe even earlier.
Find an AC starter motor and as others have mentioned check the flywheel, it may have a toothed version already there.
Complete AC starter kits are on Amazon for about $75 including switch/button, starter motor, wire harness, etc. No way can you put DC starter on for anything close to that.
