And I think the cops have to be within a certain distance of the road too. Years ago in IL the law was that State Police & local LEO's could NOT radar out their back windows... As usual,,, Something that started out GOOD and beneficial for all has been distorted to make criminals out of the silent majority while every morning on the way to work I get passed by crazy people speeding 20+ mph faster than the rest of the traffic... Same cars every day.... and never an officer in site....But it's a GREAT source of revenue for the communities!
