Where I fish I am often 20 to 40 miles from the nearest light pole or street so I know better than to leave the dock with anything less than a full tank.
40 miles out is about my limit on my 18 gallon tank with my 70 hp 4 stroke.
My sweet spot is about 7 mpg and WOT is about 5 mpg.
