I have not had my boat in the water since 2004 its parked in the back of my quonset hut... I have managed to pack that hut full trapping my boat my plans are to unpack get the boat to the front get boat operational and use it again soon...
Kids collage, work, life in general etc were a set back.. I can tell ya I enjoyed that boat until everyone else got one then it became a fight to get it into the water at the local lakes...
As I coast down in life that boat will float again soon... :) If you enjoy it go for it... My boats sweet spot is 4/4500 RPM 45 MPH 4.5 gal a hr. if you want to go thru fuel 6000 RPM 63 MPH but you get there fast...
