Here in southern Michigan before 1960, just about every tractor was either a row-crop with narrow front or a standard/wheatland with row-crops outnumbering the standards 5 to 1 or so.
Most common were Farmalls, John Deeres, Allis's, Fords, Massey-Harris's, Olivers, Cases, and a few Wards(Averys). After that everyone started getting wide-fronts, new and aftermarket. 4020's and 806's didn't do too well with narrow fronts and everything else did better too.
