The problem with the Global Warming "science" is that it keeps changing. A little over 40 years ago, when I was in grade school, "scientists" told us we were about to enter another Ice Age. Seems that all of the smoke and fumes from the pollution we were emitting was blocking out the sun, and the earth was cooling. They could "prove" this because of all the "scientific" data they had collected. Granted, we did have a couple of really cold, snowy winters here in Central VA. The government used this to force all sorts of new regulations and environmental standards down our throats. We cleaned up our air, and along with it, our water.

That new Ice Age never happened.

Now, these same environmental types and their government cronies, claim that they can "prove" we are all going to die because the earth is warming, according to the "scientific" data they have collected, and once again, have used this to cram a bunch of new regulations down our throats.

This time, they want to blame CO2. I see a flaw in their science though. PLANTS!

As all animal species do, we humans consume oxygen. And, yes, as part of our daily lives, we produce a lot of CO2. Here's where plants enter into the equation. Plants consume CO2, and emit oxygen. When you expose a plant to higher CO2 levels, they grow faster, and emit higher levels of oxygen.

To prove my point, Herman Warsaw was one of the first people to produce high corn yields (300+ bu/ac) on his farm near Saybrook, IL. Professors and scientist from all over the world tried to figure out his system. All sorts of data were collected and analyzed. Their was one thing they could never figure out, though. The area of his farm near his high yield plot had consistently high levels of CO2 present. The plants in this are of his farm also grew faster than those in surrounding areas.

Remember that Ice Age that never happened? The science around this "Global Warming" is even sketchier.

Besides, man does not have the power to destroy the Earth! Only the one who created has that power. HE did it once, and told us HE, not man, would destroy it again!

Today's Featured Article - Harvestin Hay: The Early Years (Part 2) - by Pat Browning. The summer of 1950 was the start of a new era in farming for our family. I was thirteen, and Kathy (my oldest sister) was seven. At this age, I believed tractor farming was the only way, hot stuff -- and given a chance I probably would have used the tractor, Dad's first, a 1936 Model "A" John Deere, to go bring in the cows! And I think Dad was ready for some automation too. And so it was that we acquired a good, used J. I. Case, wire tie hay baler. In addition to a person to drive th ... [Read Article]
