Is there anyone who can tell me how to test an ignition coil. The coil is from an allis chalmers/gleaner combine. It is a 6 cylender and is the same engine as a D-19. I have checked all of the wiring and replaced points, condenser, cap, rotor, plugs and wires. All of this stuff needed replaced anyway, but it still dos not run. That leads me to the ignition coil. How would you test the coil, and does it have a resistor in it?
All help would be appreciated.
