My first tractor was bought in 1984. A 1942 John Deere H with electric start, lights, and power lift. What makes this tractor so special is that my grandfather bought it new in 1942 when he gave up farming with mules. Its original and has been used primarily in our garden. I'm the second owner and will never part with it. My cousins and I played on it many times when we were growing up. I'm bi-color and also have a 1945 Farmall H that was my late dad's. I use it around our small stock farm for various chores. Learned to drive a tractor on this one. Both tractors historically significant to me and will be passed down in our family some day.
