I started this thread, but it seems to be slipping through my fingers... Someone named John Deere d sent me pictures of a Lucas starter which seems to be exactly like the one I'm working on. I think if I could get the parts I need this one can be rescued. This starter is on a TE20. I really appreciate all the info that has been offered, and if I can find the parts we can get this old thing back to work we really need done. Thanks everybody, and we're anxious to hear what ever ideas anybody can offer Thanks again...
