I recently bought a very-little-rust 94 Chev1500 V6 automatic with suposedly 96K miles. I had my favorite mechanics go through it, to make it reliable. I plan to use it as a seldom driven, 2nd (emergency?)vehicle. Seems to drive OK, except the AC is on the fritz.
It leaks!!! About a cup a month...from the end of the transmission where the drive shaft emerges. Geeez
I've got enough money into this project!! I will have to take it to the mechanics and get the news...it is no good as a backup vehicle if I cannot depend on it.
