Can anybody out there shed some light on the brass tags on the top left corner of older radiators that have the mfgr's name and a number embossed on them means? For example the radiators on 2 EarthMasters that are supposed to be '49s (No readable s/n's) have the mfgrs name and city and a large 48 embossed on the tags, and one that is supposedly a '48 has a 47 on the tag. I noticed them also on the radiators of the Avery A and the BF Moline that are here also. Surely there are some radiator people out here that will know, am trying to pinpoint the model years of the EarthMasters a little closer. Would appreciate any help if some one can shed some light on these. Gene Davis
