Hi, We have a Furakawa FL 230 FEL with a Mitsubishi 6D20 diesel engine. This evening we ran it levelling off loose ground for around ten minutes, then it ran out of fuel. When my dad refuelled it, he noticed that the manifold was smoking badly. I don't think it has any exhaust leaks. When he looked in the radiator there was a layer of engine oil at the top of the radiator. Water has never been the cleanest, but never oil in it. Whenever we check it, it always has water in it. It always smokes a lot, but is that normal for a diesel engine of that size and age? Please any help appreciated! Joshua PS how many ton is this loader? Have been told 15 ton but likely more.
