I cut up 10 loads of ash in April, it all came from my neighbors front yard from 5 trees. The smallest tree was 28" at the stump & the largest one was 54". All were slowly die'n & needed to be gone.. Being they were in a yard we feared metal in the trees & no one wanted the logs. I have no wood to cut this fall, I don't have an empty wagon to put it on. When you cut split & load, & haul all the wood from 5 trees in a yard? You are only 1/2 done, my neighbor who's had a stroke unable to do this type of work any more, I cleaned everything up & burnt the brush, reseeded the grass all that's left are the stumps. I also gave away 3 one ton dump loads away. We didn't find any steel in the trees. He has 9 more to cut behind his house most of them are over 30", I know what I will be doing in the spring. 22 growth rings ago, these tree grew over 5/8 of inch each year for 6 years straight..
