I bought my tractor this fall after having visited my Mom, and family, in MN during her terminal illness. The tractor was owned by an "old neighbor" who I had worked with, and driven his tractors, and who had provided my Dad a lot of assistance prior to his death. Simply stated, I owe him a huge debt of gratitude, one that can never be repaid. Since I live in WA I had to purchase the tractor with the assistance of another "old neighbor" and friend who consulted with the owner. I was told the owner would sell it to me and that he intended to ask $175.00 for it, with mower attached! Well, I "offered" him $1,200 for it and he seemed happy with the deal. I also gave him another $100.00 to take his "bride" to a nice dinner. Regardless of the "negotiations" I received a good tractor at a fair price and I can preserve that tractor and enjoy it in our neighbor's memory. Most importantly, the friendship of both neighbors is priceless!
