with what I have come up with. You can still do the up and down method, but with this you can go as fast as you want without having to worry about your auger getting stuck when it catches. I live in Texas and the top foot is pretty much dry but once you get deeper the wet soil is like glue and won't let you do the up and down method. Even after you stop the auger from going any deeper turning off your P. T. O. it's almost impossible to get the auger out. I have bent augers at 120.00 each because they wouldn't come out. Now I can go as fast as I want to and as deep as I want to and not have to worry about getting my auger stuck. Saves me alot of time and money.
