Armstrong can be remedied in many older tractors now with electric power steering- It was first used on some Saturn cars (the Vue, I think), now used on many and available in the after market. Much cheaper and more available than the old Charlynn systems, and you don't need a power steering pump. Do need 12 volts, though, and some length of exposed steering shaft somewhere.
