A good friend of mine was flying a Sikorsky S-76 right underneath the first one that hit. He had dropped his passengers off at the downtown heliport (Wall Street) and was returning to Teterboro Airport. He was so shaken by what he had seen that it was much later that afternoon before he could get in his car and go home. And he had won 47 Air Medals flying combat missions in Viet Nam.
