need shop heat fast

I have a 40 x 50 foot uninsulated shop that needs to be heated. Since we don't own the shop we don't want to spend a lot of $ to insulate it because we will be building our own this coming summer. Is there any type of heater we can build in the shop that will put out lots of heat. The shop has 20 foot ceilings. Its sealed real well with almost no drafts in the coldest days. We have lots of waste oil and wood to burn. If you have any ideas no matter how far fetched they are let me hear them.
